Refund & Cancellation Policy

ResumeRight is operated by Prajwal S Pattanshetti, sole proprietor, from Bangalore, Karnataka, India. This page explains when and how you can cancel an order or request a refund.
Quick summary
If we fail to deliver your scan results, you get a full 7-day money-back refund. Once results have been delivered to you, the order is treated as fulfilled and refunds are not available, except where required by law.
1. Eligibility for Refund
You are eligible for a full refund of the amount paid if both of the following are true:
- You raise a refund request within 7 (seven) calendar days from the date of payment.
- We have not delivered the scan results, optimised resume, or other digital deliverable for which you paid.
2. When Refunds Are Not Available
- If the digital deliverable (scan report, edited resume, ATS analysis, etc.) has already been emailed or sent to you, even partially, the order is considered fulfilled and is non-refundable.
- If a refund is requested more than 7 days after payment.
- If the dissatisfaction is due to ATS systems beyond our control, or to unrealistic expectations such as a guaranteed interview call or job offer (we make no such guarantee — see our Terms of Service).
- If the order was discounted with a promotional / referral code that explicitly excludes refunds.
3. Cancellation
You may cancel an order before fulfilment begins by emailing prajwalbagalkot83@gmail.com from the same email address used to place the order. If fulfilment has not started, you will receive a full refund. If fulfilment has already started, partial refund may be considered at our discretion.
4. How to Request a Refund
Send an email to prajwalbagalkot83@gmail.com with the following details:
- Your full name as used at checkout.
- Razorpay payment / order ID (begins with
pay_ororder_— you'll find it in the receipt email). - Date of payment.
- Reason for the refund request.
We will acknowledge your request within 2 working days and respond with a decision within 5 working days.
5. Processing Time
Approved refunds are processed back to the original payment method via Razorpay. Once initiated, the credit typically reaches your bank or card account in 5 to 7 working days, depending on your bank. We have no control over bank-side delays beyond this window.
6. Disputes & Chargebacks
If you have any concern about a payment or delivery, please contact us first — we resolve almost every issue directly. Filing a chargeback or bank dispute without first reaching out may result in account suspension while the dispute is investigated.
