Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the website resumeright.co.in and the services offered through it (the "Service"), operated by Prajwal S Pattanshetti, sole proprietor trading as ResumeRight ("we", "us", "our"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

ResumeRight provides resume-scanning, ATS-compatibility analysis, resume optimisation, and related career-document services delivered digitally over the internet. Outputs include scan reports, edited resume files, and recommendations.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. By using the Service you represent that you are of legal age to form a binding contract under Indian law.

3. Accounts

• You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential.
• You must provide accurate and current information when creating an account or submitting a lead.
• You may not share your account or use someone else's account without permission.

4. Pricing & Payments

• All prices are listed in Indian Rupees (INR / ₹) on the website's pricing section, and are inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
• Payments are processed by Razorpay Software Private Limited, a payment aggregator authorised by the Reserve Bank of India.
• We accept payment methods supported by Razorpay, including UPI, debit card, credit card, and net banking.
• Once payment is confirmed, your order moves to fulfilment. You will receive an email or WhatsApp confirmation.

5. Refunds

Our refund policy is set out in detail on the Refund Policy page. In summary: a 7-day money-back guarantee applies if scan results are not delivered. Once digital deliverables have been provided, refunds are not available except where required by law.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Submit content you do not have the right to share, including resumes belonging to others without their consent.
• Use the Service to upload malware, run automated scraping, or attempt to compromise our infrastructure.
• Resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit the Service or its outputs without our written permission.
• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.

7. Intellectual Property

The website design, logos, copy, scoring rubrics, and software are the intellectual property of ResumeRight. You retain full ownership of your resume and any personal content you upload. By uploading content, you grant us a limited licence to process, edit, and deliver outputs back to you.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. While we work hard to deliver high-quality scans and recommendations, we do not guarantee employment outcomes, interview calls, or job offers. ATS systems vary across employers and may be updated without notice; our outputs are best-effort recommendations, not certifications.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the three (3) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages.

10. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless against claims arising from your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the Service, or content you submit that infringes third-party rights.

11. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time and request account deletion. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or if continued service is impractical for legal or technical reasons.

12. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising under or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Bangalore, Karnataka.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date will reflect the most recent revision. Continued use of the Service after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
